Run Lola Run
This German film was directed by Tom Tykwer in 1998. It was nominated for 41 awards but only won 26 of them.
The theme behind this movie was to show the possibility of alternate universes as throughout all three of her runs, every time something small happened; it created a chain event that altered everything else as a result.
But the peculiar factor was that during each of her runs even though she went back to the moment sh began running, she'd retain perks she picked up along the way such as learning to turn off the safety of a gun in the first run which she demonstrated in the second run.
Another was the flash forwards occurring when she'd run into particualr people triggering a future insight of this person's life within that timeline.
There is a big chance I might recommend this film to those who enjoy retro-themed movies.
